”Lady Bird” One of the CLAM Festival educational films- Manresa’s Meeting Report

One of the films offered in the CLAM festival was “Lady Bird”. Before going to watch it, we worked on some useful vocabulary to improve our understanding of the movie.

We watched the film in English with subtitles in English and the previewing exercises helped particularly with university and emotional vocabulary

We watched the film on Tuesday the 7^th of May and on Wednesday the 8^th; we dedicated some time to go through some reviewing activities in groups. Particularly character analysis and technical aspects. We finished the review with a group activity imagining a sequel of the movie and focusing on plot structure.

This activity was a great opportunity to focus on the speaking skills of the students, who all did a great job.
