First day of our visit in Italy – FEDAC Manresa Mobility to Bernalda report
Our first day in Italy was impressive. We visited Matera one of the oldest cities in
the world and location where many movies have been filmed. We walked along the
old town with a guide who explained details of the long history of the place.
We looked at beautiful architectural gems and incredible caves and churches
with ancient frescos. We took amazing photos. An amazing cultural heritage experience.
After lunch we travelled to the Ghost Town of Craco, again
of the region’s location that has been used as movie set in many occasions. It
was a very interesting place and an experience for our students.
When we returned to Bernalda we enjoyed the end of the
Festivities of Saint Bernardino with the beautiful fireworks.
